A 5’ by 5’ unit is not going to be very large and it is generally used for people who are looking to store a small number of items. Generally, this size unit will hold anywhere between 20 and 30 boxes or you can add some small furniture such as a computer chair, bicycle, and a filing cabinet.

5’ by 10’ Unit

A 5’ by 10’ unit is a bit bigger than the previous unit and it is ideal for someone who has a small apartment such as a studio or a loft. You can easily fit a loveseat along with some boxes and a small computer desk into this unit with space to move around.

10’ by 10’ Unit

This size unit can hold up to two bedrooms and is ideal for living room furniture, bedroom furniture, and some appliances.

10’ by 15’ Unit

This unit can hold up to a small three-bedroom home or a three-bedroom apartment. You can easily store quite a bit in here and will find that you have extra room leftover.

10’ by 20’ Unit

If you need additional room or you have a lot of furniture, a 10’ by 20’ unit is perfect. This unit will hold a three to four bedroom home including the contents of the garage. You can even store all of your appliances in here.

10’ by 30’ Unit

One of the biggest units available is the 10’ by 30’ and it is perfect for anyone who has a lot of furniture or the equivalent to a five-bedroom home.

When choosing your unit size, evaluate what you need to store and then decide the size based on rough estimates of what can be stored inside. If you think you may need more room, opt-in for the next size up because it is better to have more room than have to move all of your items again.
